Zumtobel Group (brands include Thorn, Tridonic and Zumtobel) are recruiting for a Key Account Manager in the Netherlands
to develop an existing client base and grow the sales business within industry by building and developing relationships with specifiers and installation firms.
Your remit will include:
- Take full ownership to develop, coordinate, implement existing and new specifiers and installation firms as key accounts across selected segments in Netherlands
- Shape teams around specifiers and installations companies to establish and maintain personal relationships with relevant representatives of customers, particularly with key decision-makers and influencers.
- For both existing and newly developed customers constantly formulate, implement & monitor account objectives regarding sales, margin, account share and other KPI’s
- Align with National Specifier and Installation Companies Key Account Plans and Policies, regionalize and establish where-ever possible extended accounts in the regions.
- Prepare status reports for the top customers and with plan details of (estimated) costs and profit analysis..
- Identifies and facilitates shared learning to enhance capability of analyzing and acting upon Customer data and working in a Key Account structure around national Specifiers and Installations Companies.
- Has direct accountability for Sales, Margin and Customer Satisfaction towards the category Specifiers and Installation Companies Projects
- Play major role in changing the local market orientation from a “price oriented” market to “quality oriented” market by driving high quality technological, energy efficient solutions, connected lighting propositions and above all strategic services.
- Target key customer & client decision makers to orient their interests to Zumtobel and find out the right ways to achieve it. Always come up with new ideas to help in business development in the country.
Candidates should have an understanding of the lighting, LED and/or smart building sector with relevant experience in a project based sales role. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in previous roles as well as developing strong relationships with both clients and peers and have a hunger for developing yourself, with evidence of progression in previous organisations. You will be fluent in Dutch and have advanced levels in communication, negotiations, financials, presentation, persuasion & closing of complex project business
