We are recruiting for a Fieldbased Service Engineer to be based in the London area to act on behalf of the company, commissioning and maintaining key projects in and around London. You will work with the Project Management teams and members of the Sales Force in the preparation and commissioning on projects.
- Responsible for commissioning lighting controls products and systems supplied to clients.
- Regional responsibility for Lighting Brands Controls and Services project delivery within the Group.
- Carry out pre-installation visits to customers to advise on controls location and connections.
- Support customers during the installation & commissioning process.
- Responsibility for modifying drawings and addressing schedules.
- Maintenance contract on-site support, this includes covering both scheduled and emergency call-out visits and client training.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting/Commissioning Engineer capacity.
- Involvement in commissioning, configuration and troubleshooting of lighting control systems.
- A qualified Electrician with 18th Edition Wiring Regs Cert is preferred.
- Applicants should have an interest in computers, technology and in knowing how things work.
- A reasonable understanding of IT based technology such as windows operating systems, Microsoft word, excel and basic networking.
- Good communication skills both customer facing and with colleagues are essential.
- Clean driving license and passport required.
- Willingness to travel including overseas for training as and when required.
