Your job
By joining our team as a Bid-Quote Manager you will play a critical role in managing end-to-end bid and quote process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals to ensure the team meets customer expectations and supports the overall sales growth strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring a consistent level and quality of services for standard quotations and large or complex project inquiries.
- Supervising a team of quotation and bid coordinators professionally and assertively.
- Managing end-to-end bid and quote process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals to ensure the team meets customer expectations and supports the overall sales growth strategy.
- Implementing and managing official procedures for quotation and bid support.
- Implementing, managing, and reporting KPIs to support the development of internal processes and to drive continuous improvement.
- Providing a lead point of reference for TPP and CPD quotations to ensure consistent offer, application, and pricing.
- Ensuring that all information is in place and signed off to secure the ‘right-first-time’ project order processing of major projects.
- Reporting, tracking, and following up on quoted and major projects, including strategic opportunities.
- Assisting with any other reasonable ad hoc duties of a similar responsibility level as may be allocated to the role from time to time in pursuit of Department efficiency.
Your profile
- University degree in electrical engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification.
- Very good technical understanding and strong analytical and administrative skills while having an interest in technology.
- Relevant work experience in a sales operations role, ideally with bid/quotations and KPIs reporting responsibilities.
- Very good understanding and experience with the sales processes.
- Very good organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
- SAP system including business warehouse reporting, or similar systems experience is an advantage, as well as Salesforce CRM knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is mandatory.
- A good understanding of the lighting market would be considered as an advantage.
- Full professional proficiency in local language with very good verbal and written English language skills, German language would be an advantage.
