Key Account Manager - Outdoor Lighting

Your job
Are you a Sales Professional located in Denmark and ready to grow the Outdoor Lighting profile in the Copenhagen region? Do you have good technical understanding of the Outdoor Lighting sector and its main drivers? Are you experienced in developing the already existing customer base while increasing sales by building and nurturing those relationships with the customers? If so, this role which is centered around sports, roads and urban lighting, might be the right one for you!
As Key Account Manager for Outdoor Lighting you will be responsible for:
- Understanding of Outdoor Lighting sector drivers and opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve profitable growth.
- Developing and implementing professional account plans for key customers in line with guidance from Sales Manager.
- Effectively selecting and managing key projects to achieve high levels of profitable project conversions.
- Building and maintaining a broad mix of key account types including Local Authorities, Highways Agency, Outdoor Lighting Consultants specializing in Public Lighting, Installing Contractors specializing in Public Lighting, Landscape Architects.
- Developing broad based personal contacts in key accounts and projects to facilitate effective sales & business development.
- Taking ownership of the personal sales budget and delivering specifications, sales, margin, mix and conversion results in line with agreed objectives.
Your profile
- You have very good technical understanding of the outdoor lighting solutions and main sector drivers. Relevant experience in a sales role would be considered as an advantage.
- You have a proven track record of profitable long-term business partnerships and strong commercial mind-set.
- You have great communication skills with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- You are a natural relationship builder who works closely with colleagues to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is one of your strongest sides.
- You are curious with a desire for continuous improvement and development.
- You have high level of computer skills and full professional proficiency in local language and very good English skills.
